Summers Abroad specialises in providing residential English language courses in the UK for young people aged 10-17. Our students usually stay for a period of two or three weeks and benefit from English language tuition, excursions and a full social, cultural and sports activity programme. Our aim is to offer students the opportunity to enjoy using English to communicate in a relaxed, stimulating and caring environment.
We take great care in preparing our summer residential language programmes. We aim to help students communicate in English and develop life-skills for the 21st Century.
We place great emphasis on looking after our students 24 hours a day. Members of our staff together with Group Leaders ensure that the appropriate levels of supervision and control are maintained at all times and that help is at hand should it be required.

30 years experience of organising JUNIOR summer residential programmes. 2021 – celebrating over 10 years of our junior residential programme at Solent University Southampton.
30 years teaching experience in the UK, Africa and Italy, including at the prestigious Peterhouse School in Zimbabwe, and at Milan, Siena and Florence Universities in Italy.
Level 3 Safeguarding Certificate.
Nick Rahovitis

Lived & worked in the UK as a Centre Manager and Operations Manager. Managing Partner with Summers Abroad for 2 years.
Bachelor’s degree in European Civilizations and Master’s degree (MBA) in Business Administration. Taught English as a foreign language in various private schools in Greece for more than 15 years, led group trips to the UK as a Group Leader, taught at and managed summer schools in the UK for 3 years.
