Located in beautiful grounds on the edge of Bishop’s Stortford, a historic market town, Hockerill Anglo-European College is in close proximity to London. The school has excellent facilities, and the accommodation is warm and welcoming. The college offers single, twin, and multiple occupancy rooms with shared bathroom facilities.
Accommodation
Our aim is to provide staff, group leaders and students with very good quality accommodation. Students will enjoy residential accommodation in single/double/triple/4/5/6 bedded study rooms.
Catering is on a self-service basis and a high standard of cuisine is maintained. Students and Group leaders receive Full Board with packed lunches on day excursions. Special dietary needs are catered for.
Activities
There is a full social and cultural programme and our aim is to keep the students active and motivated.
Our unique interactive activities programme features the TEAM COMPETITION – students are divided up into groups and the programme runs on a semi-competitive basis, which is very successful and generates a lot of interest and rivalry! Students also enjoy London by night!, quizzes, barbecues and evening discos.
Excursions
Our aim is to organise excursions to places of local and national interest, which teenage students will find interesting and varied. The two-week programme includes 3 Full Day Excursions and 3 Half-day Afternoons/evenings.

B) London (including the Natural History or Science Museum)
C) Cambridge (including punting on the river Cam)
2 additional Half Day Afternoons and evenings in London
(London by Night!) plus 1 Half Day afternoon in Bishop’s Stortford
